"Ricky", Environmental Portrait Of A Homeless Man

Ricky Is A Homeless Man Who Lives In The Streets. We Met While He Was Collecting Aluminum Cans, For Their Scrap Value, From A Dumpster. As He Gathered And Crushed The Cans, I Used My Standard Street Protocol Of Interviewing And Photographing Him As We Spoke. Not All Street people Are Friendly Or Want To Be Photographed So Consideration Of Others Backed By Confidence In Yourself And Your Skills Come First. Speed And Memory With Camera Settings Are Combined With A Street Savvy Skill Set To Get These Type Results. Pre-Visualization Sets The Expectation Before The Shutter Is Tripped In This Compelling Environmental Portrait or Street Photograph By Brian Buckner Photography, Shreveport, Louisiana.
